However, Levy said a dumb thing or two. He said Clemson's success has been built on offense. The D has saved a lot of games for Clemson the last two years. I thought that was a dumb comment.

I'm not saying the comment was appropriate or not. But there's NO outrage. Even the person who Tweeted about it, who covers FSU for a living and therefore might be more tuned in to such things, didn't dwell on it. She Tweeted about it once and it was retweeted about 50 times. This is not news and does not constitute "going viral" or "internet outrage". One person's tweet does not constitute being "under scrutiny". If it does, get ready to write an article every day about every coach, commentator, etc, out there.

Fans are getting very sensitive these days. It maybe bc monuments that has been around 75 to a 100 years are now starting to bother and offend folks.
