Burch...Tony Morrell

Posted: Nov 25, 2019 9:06 AM

FYI--

It appears Tony Morrell of the Big Spur is reporting that the Gamecocks lead for Burch.

Take it as you may...

They're desperate to win something... That would be a waste.***

The good news is that we never have to worry about facing him in the playoff if he chooses them.

He should ask Bryan Edwards and Zack Bailey how that worked out for them. If he goes there, it’s his loss.

Worked out well for Edwards I guess, but only because he wants to be a WR on Sundays.

He is one of, if not the only one, who can say he made (for him personally) a good decision by going there instead of Clemson. But, I don't think he really had that choice. We did not have a scholarship for him as a wide receiver, and told him so.

Exactly. Edwards was ours if we wanted him. As you mentioned, we were full at WR. We offered to let him grow into a TE.

Not only do they not lead, they're not in his top 3...

Morrell is just trying to give them something to hang their hat on in light of the ### whippin' they all know is coming on Saturday.

The only thing that is certain with his recruitment, is that the coots don't lead---particularly with all of the uncertainty about Muscoot's future.

I always feel like I’ve lost a few brain cells after listening to Tony Morrell. The segment is hilarious. Playlet asks him questions that I wonder how in the world he can ask without laughing. Tony is a sunshine pumper.

He also know they'd rather hear a bunch of over-inflated nonsense than the truth which is exactly what he gives them.

If Burch goes to SCar, then depth chart has to be one of the primary factors. They’re probably also selling him on Muschamp being a defensive coach. Probably not selling him on Muschamp only being his coach for one year.

If so, I wonder who his coach will be when he gets there.*

His coach at Hammond ( USC grad) is really pushing him toward USC

If I am this kids parents I would be really mad that his HS coach was pushing to his alma mater. It is a decision between this kid and his family. I would tell the HS coach to mind his own business. This is a family thing and he ain’t family.

To the Burch family prayer for success on and off the field for your son no matter where he decides to play.

Funny. Last week on Mickey's show he said if he had to pick, Burch was headed to Clemson.

BTW - If he were going to USuCk, he would have committed to them long ago.

If he believed that...
