Brownell hasn't worked out and it's time to move on...

Dec 18, 2015, 8:13 PM

And please none of this garbage about our overall history. Brownell took over a team that had made the NCAA tournament three years in a row after Purnell built a foundation from the terrible state he inherited from Shyatt. Under Brownell the team has gotten worse as each season passes by.

For me personally, I'm sick and tired of our AD putting no effort into a money generating sport. If our AD isn't ever going to try to build the basketball program, they might as well drop it and bring back wrestling or another sport.

I hate to be that way.

I'm not satisfied he's getting as much out of these guys as they have to give. I think one more year and he's probably going home.

Yep. I'm about as patient as it comes, and I've always

preached to wait until the end of the season before making decisions, but if things continue to go the way they are going (and I don't think it is going to change), it's time to move on after the season. Just don't think Brownell is the man. I'm also frustrated as well about not caring as much about basketball as it needs to be. This so called "football school" is hogwash. We can be great at both and there isn't any reason we shouldn't try to be!

^^^^^UF seemed to be able to do multiple sports very well. So it is possible.

Personally I like Coach as an individual but something's not clicking

Whether it's the talent he has, his way of coaching to them, etc....since he seems to have the overall smarts for the job, runs a clean ship, Is a mature & ethical type man, has the X&O's for plays, etc.

Just wishing more overall success for him & team.
