This post reminds me of the time I was working for the Peace Corps and we were digging irrigation ditches in Suriname for the indigenous tribes in Mongabay rain forest. And out of the blue, it suddenly occurred to me, much like this post, "What am I doing here? I don't belong here!!!...", and I left, never to return...
