Breaking Fake News: CFP Committee Announces Format

The most updated playoff format goes as follows:

Teams 2,3 and 4 play a round robin with the top team advancing to play Alabama for the Championship. If after the round robin play 2 or more teams are tied in record a second round is played three days after to determine the winner.

Additionally, in round robin phase Targeting penalties will be assessed without review by SEC officials. Alabama during the round robin phase will be sent to hyperbaric chambers and be attended by a staff of professional trainers and masseuses.

Finally, the Alabama staff will be provided access to their opponents audio headsets during the National Championship game.

That is fake news. The real format is below.

Teams #2, #3, #4 will all play each other in round robin. Alabama is exempted from the round robin because 1. Their school begins with the letter “A” (seeding is alphabetical, ya know, like elementary school lunch line) 2. They invented football. 3. We feel sorry for Saban cuz he can’t dance. 4. Saban threatened to dance again if we didn’t make them #1. 5. If Saban dances again the world might end......no, really!!!!
At the conclusion of the round robin, the winner will be declared runner up and Alabama will be crowned Champions. Additionally, all Coaches, Players, Trainers, Advisores, and Administrators from the teams participating in the round robin, will be made immediately available to either join Alabama or be banned from the sport of football forever, at Alabama’s discretion.
