Brad Brownell deserves a raise and extension.

This year is evidence of an outstanding coaching job. He not only led us to one of the best seasons we have ever had, but did it without our best player for the latter third of the season. Our players have record GPAs and graduation rates, and are outstanding representatives of Clemson. Recruiting is on the uptick, and we have great facilities now (which he almost single-handedly made happen).
No, the first six or so years of his tenure weren’t what we all hoped for. But seeds were planted then, and we are in great shape. We will almost surely be back in the NCAA Tournament again next year, with almost all of our current team intact, a year older and wiser.
Our administration seems to finally support basketball in a more serious manner. Our fans are coming around and starting to support basketball more. Times are good for Clemson basketball. Let’s keep the momentum going!

I think he will too. This isn’t your good ‘ol boy Clemson leadership.

And not to pull a Coot, but for him to do that in the ACC is truly saying something. Our conference punishes - PUNISHES - mediocrity (as evidenced in years past). CBB has built something that can sustain the blows of top collegiate competition and manage quite successfully. I expect the foot to remain on the gas pedal next season...

Not cootish if it's a fact and the fact is the ACC is the toughest conference for basketball.

The cootish thing would be to flaunt the conference while attempting to gloss over your consistent underperformance and reprehensible character flaws. I agree that it's NOT cootish to tout the conference if warranted AND your durn good performance within it. The distinction is clear. GO TIGERS.

Yep, there's not many coaches who could put their team...

in a man to man defense and keep them until they are 20 points behind then change to a zone and almost close the gap. What a coach!

Truth is here in NC they will predict us to finish in the 10-13 range again, they really believe only NC teams can consistently play at the top of the conference no matter how they finished last year.

Kinda silly, but if there were 2 more minutes on the clock, we would have won that game...Kansas was gassed and confused.
