very prestigous award and well deserved. hope he gets it.

If you don't know Bednarik he was a tough as nails linebacker in college and the nFL. He hit frank gifford cleanly and darn near killed him he spent a year out of football. I've heard Frank say Chuck could have killed him if he had tried. Chuck was a tough customer in the 50-60's.

than Fairley. At least Bowers doesn't Cheap shot people and not even get so much as a flag half the time. Both are great players, but Fairley scares people in a way they shouldn't be afraid. Scared of being hit behind a play, from behind, with a helmet. MUCH rather see Bowers get this.
