Boatgating? Or boating to the games?

May 4, 2019, 11:40 AM

Does anybody here boat to the football games? Or is there a boatgating area?

Do it often if not tailgating and want to skip postgame traffic, by the ### near the Esso. Good beach area unless lake is unusually high in the fall.

If you have an inboard and don't want to beach your boat, tie up at the downtown courtesy docks, it's a 22 minute walk from there to the stadium.

I only go by boat. It's awesome. Park at end of dyke behind esso. Bout a 10 to 15 minute walk to game. We usually stop by esso and tailgates with a backpack cooler. No official parking and weather is more of an issue, especially in colder months. But you get to enjoy the trip to and from more.
