song "Sandstorm" by now? Seems like they just play it over and over and over again at any sporting event they have.

Yep, it's working like a champ! I'd get tired of it too if my team lost every time I hear it.

please don't put the word "champ" near anything USuCk***

your "tradition" is based off an electronic dance song

[3]
Posted: Feb 15, 2014 6:47 PM

and the fact that probably 10-20 other teams use the same song is sad. Put down the towels (Steelers), take away the fire extinguisher (80% of the nation) and the song. Your originality is just adding different common elements.

Not as many use it as "Zombie March." Y'all were way late jumping on that bandwagon.

I actually had to google what South Carolina's fight song was to see if I recognized it...y'all seem so proud of it.

South Carolina actually was first team to use sandstorm. Thats why they call that #### the Original Sandstorm. It gets there fans/players pumped as crap. Thats why they are on a 18 game home win streak and 28-2 at home in last 30 games.

Credits success to sandstorm. LOL!***

Re: Credits success to sandstorm. LOL!***

Posted: Feb 16, 2014 1:14 AM

Without it how do there fans get pumped. Teams like UNC AND UGA have had it blasting at practice to get use to hearing once they get there.

So now you're saying the music played is why you win?

Posted: Feb 16, 2014 3:15 PM

So you could have a team of middle school kids playing, but as long as that song is playing, they'll win? Ok.

Coming from fans of a program with woo-hoo in their fight song, now that is classic.

I don't blame you for hating sandstorm, Dabo hears it in his nightmares. Of course, you guys are good at driving around your stadium on a bus and you think that is cool.

were talking about originality and you bring up our mascots? lol there are more teams with tigers as their mascots than there are living tigers in the wild.

They have no tradition...

[1]
Posted: Feb 15, 2014 7:21 PM

Which is there tradition. It is doing what others have already done that drives the team and the fanbase. Maybe they should have emulated a team going to the BCS level of the postseason...and not concentrating on some played-out entrance.

Yall could copy it too...since most of your grads end up either driving them or working on them. Also , in the Bluff road projects leaving a motor vehicle unattended is ill advised . Your team manager would spend every Sunday at the Pawn Shops looking for the rims.

When you lose 5 straight to your rivals. Not to mention domination on the diamond. South Catolina has the longest home winning streak in the country, a pregame that has developed into one of the best in the country. Yall talk so much trash, you tide a bus, rub a rock, and your cheerleader coach runs down the hill in front of your team. That is no worse than Sandstorm and Cocky. To each his own but as you are on thr wrong side of the rivalry right now, you should just take it bc you sound bitter.

Are you having trouble with your 't's and 'r's again?

Bitter over football ?

Posted: Feb 15, 2014 11:49 PM

Not hardly. Bitterness takes time to develop ...like in a fanbase that has been housed in anonymity for 122 years , or in a fanbase that has been on the short end for that same extensive amount of time. Bitterness is reserved for old drunks who wish desperately to change mindsets and "cultures" but can only watch as their conference mates have all the glory while they divvy up 5th place rings below a single , solitary championship banner that was won during the Johnson administration. No , bitterness takes some time ...and 5 years is tough to lose to your whipping boys but it isnt enough to make a fella bitter.

Bitterness is the obvious reason for the birth of this thread to begin with.

Dirtbird is a #### idiot--all coot57 of them. Tell us about the program that does the least with the most of any school in the country. Haven't heard much mouth from 57 and dirtbird friends with regard to basketball and all other sports. There was a stomping in cootville as recent as today. All the coots in dirtbird college want Martin fired. Never hear anything about that.

Dirtbirds need to remember that little sc (the Big SC isn't in South Carolina) was established in 2009. In their minds, the previous 116 years of stompings don't count. Just remember dirtbird---coming after your ass!!! Let you suck on the sucker long enough so you can experience the joy of winning. Got a long way to go to catch up. How did you losers get so far behind in the football series?

Re: Bitter over football ?

Posted: Feb 17, 2014 10:48 AM

so in basketball our current problems are all that matter, but football is all about history... convenient argument.
