has decided to stay at Louisiana Lafayette, Bruce Feldman tweets. Napier had been a candidate for the recent opening at Baylor.

SOURCES: Billy Napier is going to stay at Louisiana. He’s been a top candidate for several Power 5 openings this winter. Napier’s very excited about the team he has in 2020 and the direction of the program. Look for him to be a top target for many programs in next year’s cycle.

Why leave and start over when you can stay and build and have a long term contract! Plus who wants to follow what Ruehle did.
