Biggest Clemson blown leads/comebacks?

Sep 4, 2017, 1:09 AM

I don't really remember any that are all that crazy from when I first started being old enough to remember games.

I know we blew a 28-14 lead vs SC in 2006.

Came back from I think 18 points vs Wake on the Gaines Adams play.

What are some others?

Yep. Was bout to post it. 1992. Virginia was 5-0 and at home and to that point had still never beaten us in their history!

We were tied 0-0 once upon a time against this opponent we were not that much better than, if better at all.

Ending up winning 56-7.

That was quite the turnaround.

GT 2004'

Sep 4, 2017, 6:47 AM

The bad snap (players name redacted) on the punt. Calvin Johnson. Worst game I ever remember attending - that includes 88' FSU. Glad we have snapped the GT curse.

Worst ending ever. We did like 10 things wrong to give that game away. Don't forget the celebration penalty that resulted in GT having great field position after we went up by 10.

We played TAM the next week.

We expected big things in 2004 after coming off of the 2003 finish.

Biggest comeback is obvious, but still fun to think about! Early morning hours of January 10 2017, Ray Jay Stadium, Tampa. We cannot be called a Cinderella team because we did not fall apart at midnight!!
