Off the top of my head, I say:
QB: Joe Montana RB: Hershall C: Rimmington guy from Nebraska OG (2): OT (2): TE: WR (4):
DB (4): Deon, Scott Warner (not sure we ever played against him) LB (3): Lawrence Taylor, Mike Singletary DL (4): Randy White
Please fill in the blanks

Rimmington was a good player, but how did he actually perform when we beat them ? My foggy recollection is he was underwhelming as compared to his reputation. He certainly talked plenty of smack pre-game, his whole team did. They were POed they didn't get a better team to play, when they beat us they still wouldn't finish #1.

And Walker didn't look All- World in the game I saw in the Valley - the Fridge laid him out on a draw play like nobody gets laid out.

You got the wrong QB. Has to be Bentley. Montana never put up 35 points on us.

Unfortunately I was at a way worse one in Tallahassee. Danny Weurfel put up around 575 yards and I think 57 points. That was almost as bad a game to watch as the West Virginia Orange Bowl.

Scott Warner single handedly won the 1980 game with a punt and interception return for TDS. It was all the offense they had. I think we doubled their yardage. That UGA team had a horseshoe planted deep in their bowels.

And Megatron - Calvin Johnson was probably the best WR along with Kelvin Benjamin maybe.

Best Kicker...Butler from UGA...will never forget that kick in the valley. Felt much lower...physically, if you get my drift
Need tickets? How about a 2 for 4 swap. I bought 4 thinking friends would join. They bagged out. Now I have 4 tickets together in Section 301, Row 3, Seats 24-27 - purchased through IPTAY. I'd be willing to swap 4 tickets for 2 tickets in the 100 or 200 level, not in the end zones. Best to text if interested and I'll call you back when free. 215-588-9311 Go Tigers!!!

Best QB was Charlie Ward? Jamis Wet-one?
Actually I always felt the best QB was Matt Ryan...That kid just knew how to win...he was never out of it.

I know we shut him down one year, but....

Calvin Johnson at WR for GT had a couple of huge games against us. Torry Holt at NCSU was a really good receiver too. FSU had a number of good receivers over the years that killed us...but I can’t remember particulars. At DE...Julius Peppers once had a play where he tipped the ball and dove for the interception against Woody D....I hate unc, but always remember that play.

tiger B I was at that game Peppers tipped it and caught it as well. Unbelievable play. Peppers was one of the best players I have ever seen live.
