That would be sweet. He could “never again” one more time.

Bentley would do better in the B1G. They still have a lot of offenses that feature a traditional dropback passer and the slower pace would help him a lot, especially since he's played in a bunch of very big and very loud stadiums in the SEC.
Personally I think he'd be a good replacement for Shea Patterson at Michigan.

I give him some crap because of his head size, but give him a decent o-line and he’s a good passer. It’s when he’s running for his life or gets hit hard early he gets shaken.
Rewatch our game from last year; he was making some good throws. They also can draw up plays on his forehead; he’d be like a mobile whiteboard.

throw the ball accurately if they're not really being pressured by the defense.
I hear Flake is particularly adept and proficient at completing passes to golf carts.

He's going to make some Group of Five team very happy.
No Power 5 team is going to take him.

Are you kidding me? The guy had his ups and downs but he's a 6'4" QB with a big arm who started 3+ years in the SEC, playing in some of the biggest stadiums in America in front of 80K+ a week. In his career he's completed 626 of 1002 passes (62.5%) of his passes for 7,527 yards and 55 TD's against just 32 picks and he's picked up another 8 TD's with his feet, so we're talking a nearly 3-to-1 TD-to-INT ratio.
Add in the fact that he's a 5th-year senior and a solid citizen - unlike, say, guys they've had in the past like Stephen Garcia - and if I was any kind of FBS program with an unsettled QB situation I'd be burning up his cell phone right now.
He won't lack for choices. And if he settles for NC State he's selling himself short. I could see Michigan (who is losing Shea Patterson) or even LSU (who is losing Joe Burrow), or UGA (who is losing Jake Fromm) giving him a call. He'd plug right in any of those places.

Look, when the young man played or plays for the coots and is wearing coot stuff I hope they lose every game. But when he transfers and plays for somebody else, I hope he does well. Except if he plays the tigers. But it would be funny as heck if he went somewhere and had a phenomenal year thus ticking off the coot fan base even more. I have no ill will towards him. Good luck Jake, make that program look even worse than it already does.

he can be a good QB. Lets just be honest here, he can throw the ball if he isn't having to do everything by himself just to get a 1st down

Do you think when he gets where he's going he'll state that "Clemson's not that much better than us, if at all."?

Great Idea! He will not be able to tell the difference between State and SCAR fans. He will feel right at home.
