out why Nebraska, Texas A&M, Colorado and Missouri abandoned ship?

That is a nagging question in the midst of the exuberance for bolting to the Big 12.

Those are some pretty big names\programs who were so displeased they ran for other conferences.

They left due to Texas getting unequal money.

I am pretty sure that was changed.

Who was ruining the conference. He was forced out and the big 12 is getting a very good respected guy to lead the conference starting June

outlook may be different. As the ACC sits now like the Big XII did recently, sometimes it takes something as severe as defections for the rest of the members to truly take notice that the leadership is failed.

they had their issues with the Big 12 like we do with the ACC...they left and so are we

Texas was out of line. Since then after seeing their conference nearly collapse the Horns have played nicer with their fellow members. Also new agreements have been signed to guarantee the league to be rock solid and more fair going forward. It is not a risk to go there any longer.
