Alright - am thrilled to see the Falcons choose VB - they need a top DE or OLB and he's going to step in and make a real difference. That's a great pick!

Gurley is a franchise player. VB at #8 is a reach. Beasley is undersized, stinks against the run and takes a ton of plays off.

I watched every play Beasley played in college. I do not recall ever seeing him quote take a plays off. I just recall him wreaking havoc.

And IF he did take a play off to be able to completely blow up the next play and drive it worked pretty freakin well.
