For those that follow baseball recruiting closely, which power hitters are we recruiting in this next class and are we in the lead for any of them?

College baseball recruiting is a tough thing to follow because of the presence of pro baseball available to all guys. Many of the high school best sign with an mlb team and hit the minor league trails.

Exactly, and we are probably in it with a lot of good hitters until pro BB drafts them!!!

Take a look at Alex Urban, Class of 2020, River Bluff High School. He committed to Clemson 2 years ago.

Yeah he is. He played against the Sykes kid from Gilbert and wes's fam was raving about him. Wes wanted to play for Monte but Monte wouldn't get off the hip for him. Too bad, good kid and can rip it. Was a good FB player too but chose baseball.

Fam wouldn't let him go pro so he's headed to coastal. Got a pretty good offer from them too. I digress. Looking forward to watching the kid develop.
