I liked having 2 catchers that could rotate. That position is hard on the body. Both had good and bad times at the plate.

for basically 2/3 of the season last year, and basically carried the team in terms of important, 2-out RBI's for the first half of the year. He tailed off after that and I have to believe that innings got the best of him - he was a freshman after all.
This past summer he played for a Collegiate All Star team and hit .286 in 20+ international games. The three previous years he had played for the National team each year and was always around .300.
I'd say the trend is in his favor, and he'll be alright once the season has stretched out some - 2 games isn't much of a population of at-bats to start worrying about.
But if TNET isn't known for worrying about mosquitos in a Hurricane, then what?

If Leggett hadn't lied to him and his entire family, and then try to railroad his professional career, then I might agree. Glad the kid got out from under our pitiful coach - even Lecroy admitted that Boulware got the shaft from Jack.

Agree 100%. Cannot understand why Jack will not rotate catchers. I still believe Kieboom left early for that very reason. Also, Robert Jolly looked good in the fall when I saw him. Hopefully, he will get some playing time.

I am sure Boulware will be missed....that is a no brainer....he is good enough to be a professional player. LeCroy saying that Leggett wronged Boulware....nah, you can bet that never happened. Did all the juniors in the nation that got drafted leave because they hated the coaches at their school...or was it maybe because as a senior they have NO bargaining power and 9 times out 10 they will command MUCH less money as a senior?
