Baseball Commit....Edmondson from Mauldin injury?

Heard that a 2020 pitcher commit Edmonson from Mauldin may have injured his elbow last week. Hope that it is nothing serious. He was touching 94 over the summer.

Any update?

not sure if it is definite yet, but before the images were taken it was thought he would need tommy john.
Sucks for the kid, especially since he was planning on going pro. Might need to go to college now

might have worded it too strongly. But I believe he was going pro if drafted where he thought he would be drafted

I was talking to his father a few weeks ago and I can tell you, the option of playing professionally was something they were absolutely considering.

I had Tommy John surgery.

If he has the surgery now, he may have a small chance to pitch some as a senior.

It would have to be an incredible recovery.

I was one day from being cleared 9 months out of surgery but tore scar tissue which extended my recovery greatly.

Even with that quick of a recovery, it could be tough to get a good enough look to be drafted high enough to skip college.

I hope the best for the kid.

It's a tough fight back.
