Bama at #1 is silly...

Their one loss is looking worse and worse. A 3 loss team who was just shutout by Arkansas. If those who rank teams are taking the whole body of work into account... How can that loss not keep them out of that spot? Should be... FSU, Oregon, baylor (bc they beat tcu), Bama, OSU , tcu, miss. State
miss state could get back in if bama is knocked out
Tcu if Baylor is.
Season is as much of a playoff as playoff

W-L record in itself is actually completely unnecessary to determine a teams power ranking (or whatever you want to call it) and project future success. Other stats do a much better job of that. I doubt Vegas gives a crap how many games teams have won and lost - they use advance metrics that are based on other things.
FSU would probably be a point spread underdog against Oregon, Bama, Miss St, TCU, Baylor, Ohio State, and maybe even some others like UCLA, UGA, etc.

I'm talking about who is undefeated still in college football. Only power 5 still unbeaten. That is not ambiguous. It is hard to still be unbeaten at this point, and for a second year thus far. Louisville, Clemson, Norte dame and BC are I the same ball park as ole miss and Bama lost. FSU...not yet

Please give us an explanation as to why Alabama is the best team and why FSU isn't top 4. You can't use the term "SEC" anywhere in your explanation.
I have plenty of reasons why neither Alabama or Mississippi St. don't deserve to be in the top 4, starting with their joke of a non conference schedule which includes SEVEN non power 5 teams.

They barely escaped against Clemson, Louisville, ND, Miami, and BC, and also struggled a lot against OK State and NC State.

Based on resume, FSU deserves to be in the playoff. If i was actually trying to determine who the best team is though (ie who would win if they played), i would not have FSU top 5. I think they will have the lowest odds of any team to win the playoff if they make it.

Bottom line is they know how to win close games. When there is only one undefeated team from a P5 conference in the country, they deserve to be number one this late in the season.

It's obvious SEC bias. Auburn wasn't penalized for close wins last year, and they had also lost a game, but after beating Bama, many in the media were clamoring they should be ahead of undefeated Ohio State for #2.
Now FSU is winning close games, but has not lost a game, and they've been passed by a 1-loss Bama, and even Oregon in the FBC rankings.
So what has Bama done that is so great? They've beaten 1 team currently ranked (FSU has beaten 2), have a 1 point win and an overtime win against current unranked teams, and, oh yeah, THEY LOST to a team with 3 losses now that just lost 30-0 to an unranked team.

I agree. If they would rank all these S EC teams where they should be then they wouldn't look like complete idiots when they lose three games

are you serious? Ohio State!! The teams you've listed have a SOS probably greater than 50. FSU has played ONE top 25 team as of today.
