Bad Broadcast

Rewatched the game on ACCn. Might be the worst ABC prime time broadcast ever. Old Raycom broadcasts were better. Virtually no replays, bad camera angles, missed plays. Just horrible. Did not notice other games as poorly covered.

Ain't it AWESOME that we have games to complain about how bad the broadcast is?
Given the alternative, I'm thankful Clemson is playing football. Oh, and #1 in the land, too. Yeah!!

My only complaint is why would ESPN replace Holly Rowe on the #2 broadcast team with Todd Mcshay. This means Holly won’t be at the CFP this year.
Holly is terrific at her job and a ray of sunshine. Mcshay is more or an opinion guy than a sideline reporter. Plus he tries to be funny nut it doesn’t really land well during a football game where fans care about the game.

Bad cameras too, add in the w i d e shots and it just takes away from the game some. It's distracting. They need to take a page from the NFLs broadcast. Much better cams and angles and whatnot.

When Tyler Davis went down with his injury they went to commercial. TV comes back and they just resume play without mention of what happened to Tyler or did miss something?
That is my only complaint that I can recall.

Maybe both teams were getting to the line too quickly? But some of the camera angles were bad. And I agree that I wanted to know how the injured players were doing after the commercial breaks.

I wonder if the camera choices is an attempt to minimize seeing the empty stands. Since they were pumping in the crowd noise, not seeing the empty seats helps keep the illusion. Personally I think it’s not worth the attempt, just broadcast the best angles for the game action and not bother with trying to pretend there are excited fans in the stands.
