What a great year for a fine young man. One stat that rarely gets mentioned is his low strike out to at bat ratio. See below:

Beer 12%
Pender 16%
Rolhman 17%
Wilson 17%
rest of Clemson players greater than 20%

This shows Beer can put the bat on the ball if he is not walked. Jolly had a 13% rato but has not had a lot of AB's but he puts the ball into play when given the chance. Beer and Okey have earned their stripes and have earned the close calls on balls and strikes as well. One of the reasons Rolhman Pender Wilson have a low strikeout to at bat ratio is that they have learned their strike zone gets expanded by blue and they put the into play. I have seen called strikes against Rolhman and Wilson that were in the opposite batter's box. And don't even get started on low pitches called on our tall batters.

In closing, Beer has been a pleasure to watch and has earned all accolades. Let's win this ACC tourney and move on to the ncaa tourney with confidence. I really like the fight in this TIGER TEAM. Love this coaching staff.

Beer has struggled a bit the last few weeks but a player like him will come up big in the post season.

Could this next chapter of the famed 28? CJ's star power elevated the football program to new heights. Will Beer do the same for Baseball? This kid is a phenom I hope he leave with an Omaha Title
