And struck out. This actually makes me feel really sad for the guy. He is and will always be a part of the Clemson family, and we should all wish and hope for nothing but the very best for him... Keep trying Kyle, you will make it. Just stay patient, and keep working your hardest at it. If you believe in the old saying that good things come to those who patiently wait. Then it will surely come when the time is right for you....

Personnel move and not necessarily a demotion to KP. I would have a hard time believing they wouldn't give him more at bats if that's what they were doing. With the no hitter they just picked up, more than half of that Rockies team probably went 0-6 in that same time. While the stat looks alarming at first, I ant believe that's the reason.

with no hits in his first 12 at bats. On his 13th at bat, he hit a homer over the left field fence of the Polo Grounds off future Hall of Famer Warren Spahn.[17] Spahn later joked, "I'll never forgive myself. We might have gotten rid of Willie forever if I'd only struck him out."

Seems to me that hitting .293 with 74 homers and 280 RBIs in 409 games in the minors just does not seem like a very good predictor of success in MLB.
