to the 2 higher seeds getting tiebreakers unless it's a 2-way tie and we beat whomever we are tied with. We are doomed with a 3-way tie.

I hate this format also but those teams earned that advantage by outplaying us in the regular season.

Whatever happened to the good old double elimination like everybody else in the world does? I feel good about the Tigers chances....Crownover owned FSU, Erwin beat UL (late game blunders cost the W) and we are better than UNC.

the only thing I feel good about is Crown having a solid outing. We have proven multiple times this year that we can win against anybody. and we are capable of losing against anybody.

I agree with clemtiger117. LU and FSU won the advantage with their regular season conference play - fair and square. We've known the rules all season and were not able to get our ship turned as quickly as we would have liked. Now we've got to put on our big boy pants and get this done. I don't like our pitching match ups. Matthew gets FSU. Matthew typically introduces a new trick (ie pitch) each time through the batting order. Well, I think he went through everything he's got last Thursday against FSU  . Zach should matchup against McKay again, which I believe is the toughest starter in the country without a Clemson uniform. We don't know who Jake will draw, but since we will presumably be going against their 4th starter, you'd think our chances would be pretty good. It's going to be tough tough tough.

Wouldn't we have been the 4th seed if we had won that rained out game against Duke? Seems like something like that should be taken into account if we have to compare our regular season to FSU.
