At what point differential does a football game become

a "blowout"?

Is it for the final score? Or, for the score at the end of each quarter?

I consider our win over aTm a blowout since it was 24-3 going into the 4th Quarter. aTm scored a TD with less than a minute remaining. But, the final score differential was 14 points, a 2 TD difference which some may see as a somewhat close game.

I remember something I saw a few years ago about a "Blowout". They say its half your score minus 7. But I dont agree with it.. That would make 14-0 a blowout... which I dont agree with. My personal take on it is 20+ margin of victory.
