It takes money to build an indoor facility so having a facility is indicative of a team with money. Commitment and spending may be the better correlation but I would think an indoor facility will follow the same trend since it seems to be first on most spending lists.
Having said the above, I wonder how many schools have indoor facilities and which do not.

In 2016 there were only four(4) Power 5 schools with no plans for building an indoor practice facility.

Copy Clemson? There are a lot of schools that renovated their old indoor facilities before Clemson built ours. Google is your friend.

For sure. Most P5 teams In the Midwest had them in the 80s/90s. But I mean, in a lot of cases they had to.
