Aren't thre plenty of high profile guys in SC, GA, NC and FL to get us everything we need? Heck Atlanta has more recruits than the entire state of SC

Jack Leggett loves to recruit out of the south. I'm not sure that s the way to go.

Why not think of Baltimore and Washington areas as recruiting grounds. Good athletes and not many high profile football schools closer than Clemson.
Also Dorian O Daniel (a commit), Fuller (VT commit- but VT is having bad season), and other hi priority targets in the vicinity.
Very reasonable.
