the worm has turned. I'd like to think that last night was the beginning of the end of the coots run of success.
It has been tough as a Clemson fan and an alumna the past three years watching the coots win two national championships and beating us in FB.
They have become more bold and brazen in that short span of time.
November will tell.
Go TIGERS!

Interesting is: Roth was the pitcher when they beat CLEMSON and started a lot of this run - at least in baseball. Last night, Roth got the "L" and was relieved after 6 2/3, so I think you're right. That momentum just took a nasty turn that might run for a while.

Roth and Price have made contributions to USC's team that can't be understated.
I think there will be a drop off next year because of the loss of these two.
USC wasn't as good at the plate this year as they have been (I heard an announcer say that only 2 players were over .300), but the pitching staff kept them in games. Roth and Price are superb college pitchers.
I'm certainly not a guru, but I don't think their bats will heat up so drastically next year that it makes up for the loss of Roth and Price.
