Anyone know of any video from 1959 Sugar Bowl

game with LSU. I’ve seen a number of pictures of Billy Cannon and a couple of our “Sugar Blues,” but there should be some newsreel footage from the Sugar Bowl itself or a couple of TV stations here in state.

Be aware ... the footage is silent and grainy B&W.

The game was deadly dull affair in spite of its legendary status in Clemson lore.

Worse yet, the snippet of footage where a Billy Cannon scores the only points of the game is missing.

Thanks for reposting. Had not seen this before. Disappointed that Cannon’s TD was missing. If I remember he threw a halfback pass for the winning points.
