Anyone ever been to a Clemson @ Duke game in Cameron Indoor?

It's always been on my bucket list. Tix on stub hub and craigslist are always around $300 each. Is there an alternative? Can I find reasonable priced tickets if I buy from a scalper outside? I've seen Duke & Clemson in Littlejohn and in the ACC Tourney.

I've been twice in 2010 and 2011. The first year was front row and the second year was the second to last seat from the top.
It was approx. $150-175 per ticket each year (obviously got lucky the first year).
Go to dukebasketballreport.com and look at the auctions. I imagine the prices have increased since 2011 and you'll fall somewhere in the $250-300 range.

actually won, and a couple of days later, Coach K took a leave of absence and left the show to his assistant coach Pete Gaudet.....There are usually tix outside for the lesser opponents. I have no idea how much they might cost...I always got mine thru a Duke alum

What!!?? You mean college basketball coaches use profanity? What kind of world are we living in where our church leaders aren't also our basketball coaches?
But seriously, that's cool that you got tickets from Johnny Dawkins.

He was raised the child of immigrants in urban Chicago, not the Bible belt. Cultural differences.
Also, he played for Army under Bob Knight, he probably learned a a few more words there.

I have been to Cameron to watch Duke probably 50 times over the years including the infamous Clock game.
I never have bought tickets before and only once could I not find tickets (Duke vs. Michigan St.)
If you TMail me I will be glad to share with you my strategy that has found me a ticket 98% of the time and most times below face.

And call YOUR shot clock operator a GD idiot because you dont like how he 'horns' subs in where 1/2 the place can hear you--lose a lot of respect no matter how many games you win
It is possible to win with class. He has very little of it.
Btw- they were up by 10 !!

Best College Environment I have ever been to and there is not a close second.
Going to Cameron is an experience like no other in College basketball. It is not modern by any means and does not have many amenities. It is hot, the aisles narrow, the seats even narrower, the concessions limited.
But Cameron is special very very special.

You should visit Allen Fieldhouse one day. Although I haven't been to Cameron, I'm sure Allen beats it by a mile. But I'm a KU fan as well, so I may be a bit biased. I sat about six or seven rows behind the Kansas bench when I went, and it was spectacular.

I went to the Dean Dome last year and a few Wake games over the years. Littlejohn is nicer than either of those.

The Dean Dome has a weird feel about it....it was build right BEFORE the time that new construction techniques. It seems not to have aged very well.
Wake just seems sterile

yeah it's a really neat venue and unlike any other. My only issue is the cost -- when you're talking $300 per ticket, it becomes a bit excessive. You could probably buy front row seats at LJ for when Duke and UNC come to visit at that price.

Went many years back. Sat on the floor under the basket. That year we came close to beating them. I have to say it is an awsome place to watch basketball.
