He mentioned this in an interview, I think after the last scrimmage. He says it's more comfortable without it but will have it on during the games. If my memory serves me well...

What EVER it takes for him to keep the knee healthy, I'm all for it! HOWEVER, every time he gets up from a tackle, etc., and he reaches down to adjust it - my heart ALWAYS takes a two or three beat pause...
