And let Carson Spiers pitch middle of games. 5-7th innings and holt jones close out games. Holt jones throws a hard ball

Throw the ball hard. They have to have pinpoint accuracy and ice in their veins. Mariano rivera, one of the greatest closers of all time, never threw over 92-93 mph. But he had a nasty cutter that he controlled very well, and hardly ever gave up hard hits. More importantly, he didn’t walk many batters, and he had swing and miss stuff. All of that is what you want in a closer. Holt has none of that. Spiers is the closest we got
