There were quite a few adults around the child for about ten minutes, and then everyone kind of drifted back out of the area. Never saw a stretcher or anything, so we had to assume they gave him an ice pack and maybe tylenol.

I was 50 feet away and saw the ball hit him. My child would have gone to the ER. But after 5 to 10 minutes he was walking and seemed ok. But I don’t know why EMS did not insist he go for checkup. It looked like a glancing blow just above left eye. Two inches lower would have been horrible. Sure hope and pray he is ok. Only about 6 or 7 years old.

He was checked by two doctors and was more scared than hurt- he was fine
