Prime Time is ready for Prime Time
Adrian Baker earned the nickname “Prime Time” while he was in high school in his home state of Florida, but it was a nickname he didn’t want. Three years into his Clemson career, Baker is finally getting to play during Prime Time, and it’s something he wants more than anything. Full Story » |

Great story
De recruitment is a real thing at every major school that has a chance to compete. The only way for top Athletes to avoid it would be commuting to Virginia or somewhere that there's no talent to displace

The whole decootment movement in Cola is just a hoot , but top that with them getting their hopes upon recruits like Pinckney and John Simpson only to be deflated , and you almost feel sorry for the po bastads .
Almost .

I don't, I applaud the way it makes them feel. Concerning sports, I'm happy when knowing they are butt hurt, sad, and feeling sorry for their selves!!!

is anyone else as tired of this expression as I am?

Iron does not sharpen iron. The only way to sharpen iron or any other metal is by a harder substance. I know this saying comes from Proverbs and that doesn't make it true. My interpretation of that phrase is the "As" part at the beginning. Since iron doesn't sharpen iron then a person doesn't sharpen another person. Practice a crappy golf swing and you still have a crappy golf swing. A good receiver for a DB to practice against can make that DB better only if there are good coaches and teachers to show that DB how to get better. Go play August National with a crappy golf swing and at the end of the round you will have a very high score and still have a crappy golf swing and thus iron didn't sharpen anything.

I also hate when people say "it's raining cats and dogs." Every time I go outside to check, and there's neither cats nor dogs falling from the sky. I mean, when does the bullshxt stop?

a leather strop (proper spelling) hones a razor...an iron file will sharpen iron...iron has many varieties...of course people improve one another...the proverb is elegant and true.

"He didn't want the nickname prime time so let's write an article that only refers to him as prime time so we can be sure that it sticks"
#### that, calling him prime time. Why would we want one of our players to take a nickname from an FSU player

He was so skinny initially and you can really see the work he put in. He will have a great career at Clemson.

We need every bit of help we can get. If BV has faith in him then thats good enough for me. Cant wait to see this massive team on the field leaving it all out there.
