If you want to go somewhere to eat try Village Tavern, if you want to pick up some barbecue and tailgate try Mr. Barbecue.

Prissy Polly's or Clarks BBQ in Kernersville. Both are the best BBQ period, ever, the end.

No no no. The best bbq period is at Shulers off of I95 near Latta, SC.
best ribs, bbq chicken and bbq I've ever eaten.

We're going to Ronnie's in Clemmons before the game. Clemmons is just west of Winstom-Salem on I-40. It's kind of our tradition that we do whenever we go to a road game in North Carolina. I live in Winston Salem. The best BBQ is Bib's BBQ downtown off of 5th Street. There's also a small tavern called "The Quiet Pint" about 8 minutes from the stadium right by Wake Forest Baptist Health. Great food and great beer and rarely busy.

Little Richard's on Country Club Road is the most authentic/best Lexington-style BBQ in town.
No gas, no electric, just hickory slabs smoking shoulders nice and slow. Richard and I learned the craft together beside Leroy McCarn at The Country Kitchen in Midway back in the 70's.

The aforementioned Village Tavern was my favorite place to eat there. It is probably still my favorite place to eat anywhere.
I will be there, but I am tailgaiting and eating there at the game.
