Anybody else almost cringe for Dungey when XT blindsided him?

Yeah me neither. But considering how experienced Dungey is, the fact that he’s right handed, I was just dumbfounded at how XT gets there with qb looking like he never even sees him coming. Obvious kudos to XT for his first steps and an absolutely clean, textbook hit and tackle. I’m just still surprised everytime I watch it that Dungey never seems to see it coming.

I think Dungey has an excellent internal clock that prevents these things from happening, but XT is faster than Dungey's clock.

When that play happened my first thought was that the refs had blown the play dead and XT hadn't heard the whistle. It looked like he was running full speed and everyone else had stopped.

Not a good feeling for the OL I imagine. But I’m sure XTs first step is a little different than anyone else Syracuse has played this year. He’s a freak!
