Any way to see the National Championship trophy?

Jan 23, 2018, 3:40 PM

Do they allow fans to visit that front part of the football operations complex with the national championship trophy and other elements of the football museum that used to be in the West Endzone?

I'm assuming they do not, but just wondering.

They do allow fans to visit the front part of the Reeves complex.

Some friends of mine posted this on Facebook:

I'm sorry. There is just something that struck me as funny

seeing your friends' faces blocked out. Perhaps the first thought that came to my mind was, "blockheads".

It seems odd we do not have a fan-accessible football museum. Most programs have that sort of thing.

Re: Texas A&M

LOL--Texas A&M "claims" 3 national titles: 1919, 1927, and 1939. Winning actual ones in 1981 and 2016 trumps that by a mile.

At any rate, my point was lots of schools LIKE A&M (with similar or less football success than Clemson) have museums. Substitute Oklahoma St for A&M if that example makes you happier.

Clemson has 17 conference titles and two modern national championships in football. That ain't nothing, and it ain't even typical.

So you have a straight up answer.... yes, weekdays during normal business hours just walk in....open to public. Main lobby only where the trophies are.
