I bought some energy sector stocks while the Saudis and the Ruskies are driving the prices in the dirt. Looking at this long term so I figure the energy sector will bounce back well before I'd be looking to sell in the future...

Edward Jones does mine and wife stock buying and selling, and they made made us some good profits over the years, so we're pretty happy with them. I just wish I would have gotten into the stock market when I was younger and had more money to invest, I would have taken bigger risk to make or break the bank bc I was young enough to make more LOL!!!

Started adding to my core holdings where I had room on 2/24 and have found something to buy every day since:
CFG, CVX, LEG, NUE, NFG, ADM, CAT, GPC, CSCO, DAL, GIS, BA, ED, TXN, BAC, SNA, SYY, GD, BR, LOW, ORCL, DIS, WFC, MSM, MMM, TAP, D, PFE, VZ, OMC, EMR, C, CMI, CVS, CHRW, UPS, CMCSA and AOS.
Most of those are fairly conservative and boring dividend payers, but I'm 75 years old and can't take too much excitement....

I bought 30K of Vanguard VFIAX yesterday at closing. I had just sold 30K of VFINX a month ago. It looks like it may work out.

Bought some today with Edward Jones. I'm conservative so I did not go out on a limb for anything. Vanguard is seemingly good most of the time. Bought some Ford Motor Co. back when the auto industry was floundering. Get some of that if it ever happens again.

I don’t follow the market enough to dabble in individual stocks. Had some money I had pulled out of the market a while back so have been rebalancing my 401k...buying some index funds on large market drops. Have only put about half back in so hoping for more buying opportunities in the months ahead.
How does anyone feel about a Russell 2000 index? Seems small caps have taken more of a beating on the way down...but maybe a good upside when things turn around?

Bought a few shares in Sears and JC Pennny . Sold off all my Blockbuster stock as people cant watch movies if they are dead with Corona!

Bought some GE since it was below 8.50. Have some RDSB and BP in the portfolio and may add a few more shares if they fall a bit more to average down. Had a good run with AMD from 11+ to 53+ then sold.
