Does he take a scholarship? If he is a walk-on that's fine but I don't care how great dad was, we've got to compete and shouldn't waste scholarships on legacy recruits. If dad wants him to follow him, he needs to do what most other parents that attended Clemson and have their children follow do... pay for it. Same with the Davis Twins, if they are on scholarships, what a waste! Honesty hurts, we aren't elite enough yet, to throw away scholarships.

You know Renfrow walked-on and EARNED his scholarship right ?
Renfrow enrolled in June 2014 and redshirted last season. On Aug. 15, 2015 Swinney awarded him a scholarship

I think that you missed the entire point of my post. Renfro was a kid who didn't warrant a scholarship from anyone and became a starter and quality player for my Tigers thanks to the coach for giving him a chance

way someone actually posts that Hunter is a waste after he performs like he did in the Orange Bowl and NC over a 5* recruit defender and in the place of a 5* in violation of team rules. Come on guys have a sense of humor. I think his point is if Dabo wants a guy like this, we should trust his recruiting. Look how good our numbers are even though we are in a small class and look how good some of our lower starred folks are doing. Hunter, you're the bomb. I watched alot of the game with non-Clemson fans and they fell in love. That is the story line folks love to hear. A walk on, earning a scholarship, and then proving that it was well worth it. Thanks Hunter for having the hands of a Nuk and the heart of a freakin' lion. Go Tigers!!
