Only scenarios it could happen:
1) LSU runs table, giving Bama its only loss, and wins SEC (plus some help from other teams) probably gets both LSU and BAMA in
2) Either GA or FL runs the table, including SEC championship over BAMA ( and BAMA loses no other games), possibly gets two in

I was thinking something similar. Bama needs to win out to keep other SEC teams out of playoff

So I am tempted to just pull for them, build them up as high as possible, let them eliminate their SEC brethren, and THEN steal their candy in the playoffs!

Not so fast! There will only be two unbeaten teams at the end of the regular season. Clemson and Bama, that will allow the committee to put at least two SEC teams in the playoff. Leaving out Big 12 and PaC 12.
This will eventually put an end to the selection committee.

Agreed...only way I think is Bama wins completely out thus emliminating a 2 loss UGA team...unless OSU and the rest of those fruits have two losses as well...

I think it actually increases their chances....
If Bama wins out and loses in the conference championship, they will fall to 3-4...given the opponent and location because you know they always choose what’s easier for Bama...and the team that beats them (probably UGA) will get in as well...
So ideally we will need LSU to completely wet the bed and make UGA’s loss look bad right?

Georgia cannot beat Alabama , it is not even a remote possibility . They got demoralized by LSU yesterday . Kirby Smart is now 0-3 against the SECw in the regular season .
Alabama is going to waltz through the SEC into the playoffs ... because the entirety of the SEC ( despite the nauseating narrative and despite the others being inexplicably highly ranked ) it's not a league full of behemoths .
I think the chances of seeing two SEC teams in the CFB playoffs this year are slim to none with Georgia falling down the well yesterday .

LSU beats BAMA, runs table then meets a 1 loss UGA in SEC title
GA wins, goes to CFP
1 loss BAMA once again goes having not even won the West
If the 2nd one on your list comes to pass, the committee should be disbanded and each member caned at halftime of the championship game

4 Top 10 teams lost this week!.. and several last week! There are plenty of tough games left for all undefeated teams. At most there will be 2 undefeated teams after Conf championship weekend.
The question is does a 2 loss SEC team get in over a 1 loss PAC12, Big10, ND or even Clemson? (We know a 1 loss SEC team will be ranked higher than any other 1 loss team)
