Was more disappointed with Caldwell than I was with Anchrum

Anchrum has played well for us this year. Last night, he struggled mightily. Sometimes you go against a stud or a particular guy that has a skill set that gives you trouble. I get it. It happens. However, if everyone can see that a guy is getting whipped and you're not going to make a personnel change, why allow your guy to continue to get abuse without providing him some help.

I fear in games in a similar instance where the talent level is closer that Caldwell won't make the adjustment and allow 1 player to wreck our offense. I hope he proves me wrong.

Anchrum did the best he could under the circumstances

He needed help. My guess would be that they don't want to unveil the GW HBack package completely until Bama.

Yea, don't know we didn't help out Anchrum more with a TE or running back? Also, Trevor missed some opportunities to hit a running back in the flats to slow their DE down.
