Prospective future home and home

Oct 12, 2019, 7:14 AM

Opponents?

Does anyone know if we are in the works of scheduling another tough home and home series soon?

Besides appeasing uga and accepting their home and home and "neutral" site in choklanta who would you want us to play to make more fan bases mad?

Personally, here's my list:
Lsu,. Florida, southern Cal, Boise State, Baylor, Central Florida, bucknuts and Washington, byu, Utah and Wisconsin.

Seems lsu and Florida are a long shot bc of cowardess. Not sure of the rest but we see Pitt got ucf and fsu got Boise.

Bucknuts wouldn't want to considering they have never beaten a division 1 school in South Carolina and that's one of the funniest stats in sports that no one talks about.

Byu and Utah are desirable bc we all know that somoan lineman are like tree trunks. However they don't live in southeast. Would love to have some exposure out there.

Any thoughts or other teams that would benefit us to schedule recruiting-wise please share?

All of the "big name" opponents are set through 2037...

2021 OOC schedule blows chunks -- no disrespect to the Cowboys of course.

There are several years at the end of that time where only 2 OOC games are listed so shouldn't there be room for other big schools?

Yeah openings for mid-major schools like Troy, Kent State,

etc. Doubt we would schedule teams like LSU the same years we're playing Notre Dame or Georgia.

Clemson doesn't care about basketball....as evidenced by Brown-L getting 14 years.

Yeah, everyone that’s replied is right. Schedule way out past my time.

So Cal or Oregon, Washington- any would be wonderful. Wouldn’t mind penn st.

It's a dang shame that most of this is uga

Oct 12, 2019, 8:57 AM

We shouldn't have given them all those slots. It benefits uga in the long run to have a chance to have bragging rights recruiting wise.

Losing Terrell, DW4, TL, Myles Murphy Andrew booth etc has shown them they have no chance to stop this out of state recruiting onslaught unless they can say they beat us straight up.

This very well could backfire and I'm thinking this is why we "let" uga back into our football scheduling bc they kicked us out during the 90s. If they don't win at least 2 or 3 of these matchups in ATL and Athens the allll prospects in the state of Georgia will be ripe for picking. That means no more recruiting champ for Kirby fart and co????

It's a dang shame so many games aqainst Notre Dame. Rather play UGA any day of the week.
