one of the most solid resumes in CFB dating back as far as you'd want to dig.
BUT
How come they've never been mentioned for loudest stadium or most hostile environment?
Maybe fans of teams like Bama are somewhat jaded or just don't have to get that emotional. Results have always seemed to bounce in their favor, regardless.
I lived in Bama for 10 years, and worked alongside AU and UA fans. Rest assured that the Bama stadium is both hostile and loud. Their fans love their football as much or more than we CLEMSON fans, and that's saying a lot. It was funny working in an office with both fans when the Iron Bowl rolled around. Fans from each school would trash talk to me about the other school, but not trash talk to the other team's fans. I always found that odd. In my interview, one of the questions was "Are you Auburn or Alabama, because it's important?".
I went to the 2011 Penn State and 2016 Texas A&M games at Bama and their stadium was hostile both times. It's more of an NFL environment though with the piped in music and highlight videos.
