all these pre-season player rankings, prognostications, conference evaluations, etc.
Any chance they overtake Clemson in the Pre-season rankings when August rolls around ?
Its not looking good for the Tigers.

Amen to that! We already have a big enough target on our backs. I'd be very happy flying under the radar anywhere in the top five - and just keep winning games 1 at a time.

It's a given that AL will be pre-season #1 regardless of how good or bad they are.

It never fails, they’ll be preseason #1 and 10-13 SEC teams will be in the top 25....lol it’s all in the promotion game because when they lose or win against Conference competition they are playing a top ranked team lol.
It’s why they worship the only true football conference. It’s so hard when your beating each other up with all these ranked teams...lol
It’s also why they can’t accept getting beat by a ACC team for the Natty without it being their fault because the best shouldn’t lose because we were using stuff they hadn’t practiced for, you know that copycat stuff.....lol
It’s so enjoyable watching them squirm and make pathetic excuses!

I honestly believe we'll be the preseason #1 team, not that it matters outside of just being a cool thing to add to our resume. However, I think many voters still look at Alabama as being the "safe" option to vote #1 due to how consistent they've been over the past 10 years or so. I think we're starting to reach a similar status in the minds of people as well, which is why(along with returning Lawrence and most of our offense) I believe we'll be #1 to start.
