Then this should help you to forgive yourself for saying what you never thought you would say. It has help me, and I'm also one that's never hard on one of our coaches.

The circumstances of the cws when we have crapped the bed against them. The two games when we were inthe drivers seat after beating asu and them already losing to Oklahoma and it has only been salt in the wounds since then. Now,we either blow a lead or just get blown out.

I hate to say it but you may be right. Is there any way to look at the fundamentals of baseball and look at Leggett and see how in the world can you not get players to play. Thats a coaches job. He is paid big $$$ to prepare them to play at the highest level possible. Its no wonder that his baseball camps are tanking.....he doesnt even show up for half the camp now. This is one of the reasons kids in SC are heading to USuC to play ball. That jersey pipeline is broke!!!

The coach that went to FLA. (forgot his name, Old age I guess) Kevin I think, helped him hold the road during his time at Clemson.

Best chances of any in the past 10 yrs with maybe the exception of unc .i do realize that it means nothing in the big picture as the odds are only 12% once you get there and the acc is definitely one of the 2 best conferences. Probably a toss up with the sec. Still,hard to believe we don't have a nc in baseball.

If you compare overall records Leggett has done extremely well, arguably better than Wilhelm did.

Wilhelm at least dominated the league hell we are middle of the pack now. It's a joke that people like you keep defending him while we get passed by program after program.

A lot of coaches don't like to play in the tournament because of the wear on the pitching staff right before the regionals, unless they need a game or two to improve their chances of hosting.

Toughest? You do realize some conferences have won multiple NC since the last ACC National Championship in 1955? The SEC has been the Champion or runner-up for the last 6 years. Believing subjective BS does no one any good.
Leggett is a good coach, but not great.

Before then coaches like Corbin(vandy) helped a ton, now they're a power.
Scar has just taken things to a new level, this team they have this year may be the best in the land. Yes they've got beards and read at a middle school level, but they play loose and never quit such as today down to their last strike. We are likely a top 10 team, I think our starters are better than theirs, our defense and bullpen and MENTAL game is our weakness.

the biggest key to baseball is pitching....the next biggest thing is when to pull a pitcher. the third biggest thing is explaining why to the pitcher pulled and salvage his ego.
