After watching some of Bowman's highlights

I have to wonder how he fits into the rotation. We have some seriously good RB's, but this guy is off the charts good IMO. I sure hope we get to have a regular season 'cause I want to watch these guys play. With Bowman's addition to our RB core and ETN hanging around for 2020, I see CLEMSON becoming more run-oriented, especially early in the season. Replacing Tee at WR is going to take some time IMO, so the run game should increase.
Also, I never figured out why Mellusi was able to run so freely thru huge holes so often last season. He would hit the hole and be in the EZ in a flash. I don't think he was always playing against their subs either. It just struck me as odd that he made that look so easy (but blocking was really good, even with our subs in the game on the OL). Just curious.

He was showing flashes for sure. Mikey Dukes is going to special too. He played at a very small school so look for his improvement to jump this year.

I agree that we have some really serious talent at RB, and that is a plus anyway you look at it but, Ross, Ladson, Amari, Ngata, and Powell can all play WR for any school in the country plus, true freshman EJ Williams reminds me a lot of a Tee or Ross with his elite ability to go and catch the ball in heavy traffic. Those WR's will get their touches if we actually have a season!!! Go Tigers!!!

I seriously think Bowman may end up only behind ETN in carries this season.
Dixon is talented, but I think Bowman is more physical and will be a more complete back by mid-season.
There have been many years where Dukes and Mellusi would have looked like studs for us. But I have the idea that along with ETN, Bowman is on a completely different level talent-wise. Shipley will be interesting to watch too.

He is already a top 4 RB in Clemson history and hasnt played a down. He is the 2nd best already that we will have this year after ETN. He would have been first string by years end this year had ETN not stayed.

Talent wise, he’ll be number two right behind ETN day one. That’s not a knock on any other RB, that’s just how special Bowman can be. The only thing that will keep him off the field will be how he adjusts to blocking at the college level and playbook knowledge.

have we ever had multiple 5 star RB's in the rotation

before?
I guess if you count Bellamy... he was a high 3 star in my book.
this is getting exciting. I hope we give ETN enough carries this year. I felt like he should have had some more 3rd quarter touches last year.

Absolutely, 3d and 4th quarter is where RBs usually have their best stats bc they have already worn the D lines down, especially late 3d and 4th quarter!!!

I think work in practice and picking up the playbook and assignments will determine PT. A great run game just opens up the passing game, and vice-versa. Puts opponents in a pick your poison position.
