After reading Auburn's tailgating parking policies

Jun 30, 2016, 1:19 PM

I'm jealous as heck. Everything is first come, first serve and totally free of charge, except for one specific area. The only free of charge, first come first serve parking we get is two miles away. How does Auburn pull this off and we can't?

Their alum's cant afford parking--

paying with rolled coins slows up traffic so the school just said what the fudge, let them park free

you will be surprised. I went to several

Games there when I was stationed in Montgomery. They have big time tailgates too and are pretty fancy in places. Most of them send someone up a day of not days before to reserve a spot.

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

People pay to have the comfort of a reserved spot

Simple as that.

That kind of policy can easily be abused when a convoy of cars can take over an area while not utilizing carpooling etc.

Clemson's established tailgating spots develop relationships and bonds with the folks around you too.

Wouldn't trade what we have for theirs.

That might be true if the donor levels didn't get changed every few years. My family is getting moved for the 3rd time in about 10 years.

Exactly moments after making to the Natty, donor levels were restructured which affected alot of parking.

The only dumb rule they have is that you cant take your drink into the restroom. They have tables outside the restroom where you leave them while you go in..This is not in the stadium, but an outside public restroom..Would be like not taking your beer into Littlejohn restroom..Plus , when you leave the game, there is no returning..

It's changed now, but you could park indefinitely in a spot

a friend told me about a group that tailgated for 10 days straight... two games. He said he knew what RV couple well enough to swing by and get a sandwich on the way to class...on a Tuesday. It was the wild west not too long ago
