Loose would be correct,technically speaking.
As the Head Coach,Dabo is 0-4('09/'10/'11 and 2012).
Remember Dabo was only the "interim" coach when he beat Spurrier in 2008.

Dabo was the coach whether you call him an interim coach, wide receivers coach, assistant coach, or a real estate sales man. On the day that Clemson beat Slurrier and the coots, Dabo was the coach calling the shots....

HE WAS THE HEAD COACH. He was officially in charge; therefore, he was the HEAD COACH. Dabo assumed the position of head coach and someone else assumed the position of WR coach. He was "interim" because he his term as the head coach was scheduled to end when the season ended when a search for a "permanent" head coach would take place.
Spence was even fired by Dabo. If you can fire the OC, there is no question that you are the HC even if it is only a temp position.

Coach. Either way he was the Head Coach in 2008. Lou and you are both wrong. The games in 2008 count in his record. If you don't give Dabo credit for the win, who do you give it to?

Actually Lou said Dabo has never beat USuCk, he didn't say as a head coach, even though that was the context of the argument, nevertheless it would make him more wrong than any wrong thing I have ever heard bc Dabo has been in Clemson for 11 or 12 years as a coach and I am pretty sure in those 11 or 12 years he knows exactly what it is like to beat the Coots. He was the HC for half of the 2008 season so that win counts on his career record as a HC so it is asinine to say he has never beat USuCk as a head coach when he very much did in 2008 no matter the title you put in front of HC it still says HC.

Noticed that and sent in a correction to ESPN but obviously we haven't seen it applied. Interim head coach or head coach same to me. However this is going to be an issue for Dabo and even moreso in the future if he doesn't find a way for us to beat our rival. Remember the coots had never even beaten us TWO years in a row and now we are in a four game skid. We should've done whatever it took to try to sway James Davis' little brother. I know he wasn't interested but every salesman knows you have to get past the first couple of objections. That kid can play and we had an "in" with him. Also how do we lose Bruce Ellington when his cousin is already here? Curious but why haven't we seen Brooks more by the way? Is he just not that good? Hope we find a way to beat the coots. Those of us living in the middle of coot country know how important it is!
