You do know, don't you, that the LA governor asked Obama not to come until the water receded more because it would divert resources from
helping those in need to providing security for the president? [He also asked Trump not to come for a photo op, which, of course, Trump ignored.]

That doesn't fit the conservative narrative ;)***

FWIW, that area needs all the public service officers it can

stand right now tending to the crisis at hand. Not to play on any talking point that might be out there, but it would be a horrible allocation of resources and attention for a President to try and visit that area while in the midst of crisis management. The Prez will get there once things have settled where his mere presence wouldn't overtax the situation at hand.

I haven't looked into it but I'm curious as to how FEMA and the Feds responded to this on the ground, and when.

As a Columbian in a neighborhood heavily affected by our own flood last year, I'm trying to channel what it was we were in most need of at the time to help provide back to that community now and for the coming weeks and month ahead.

Go Tigers!

This is ignorant. The governor asked Obama not to come. why? Because it takes away personnel who need to be involved in the clean up effort. It's not that he didn't want to come.

Stop trying to turn a national tragedy into a political statement. If you actually want to help, go donate blood, money, or send supplies. Otherwise shut up.

Seems like only yesterday

when the American auto industry was about to go down the drain and was rescued by the new president. Now, a few years later, the industry is having its best years.

a few years ago you could buy a share of GM for less money than a spark plug! That #### Obama
