About the unity march/protest

Jun 10, 2020, 11:19 AM

Saturday on campus.

I can't stress enough the importance of clemson friends and family, if able, to be there in support. No matter if you believe the name change should happen or not, just please show our players that you are willing to listen to them and you appreciate their right to speak out. They love Clemson and Clemson loves them. This should be a very positive event and example.

You’re absolutely right. I live about 30 minutes from campus and I’m thinking about taking my daughter, who’s a rising sophomore at Clemson, and my teenage son. We may not always agree on political or social matters, but we’re a family, Clemson Family. As fans, we should show these athletes they’re important to us and have our support. It’s not about just having them at Clemson to win games and championships.

We are "All-In" Clemson Family and we should support each other even if we agree to disagree on some issues. All families have disagreements. Let's show our Clemson faith and strive to obtain our expectations of setting high goals for ourselves and for our future generations. This is the CLEMSON WAY!!!!

I fully support the expression of speech and beliefs. What I have trouble with is possibly exposing the football team and others to the Coronavirus. Hope all wear masks and social distance!

Completely agree...

we are so happy when our athletes win games for Clemson and we should listen to and support their concerns whether we fully agree or not.

My hat is tipped to the young men who I enjoy watching laying it all on the line for Clemson.

We should re-paint the stadium to show

we are really committed to the cause. If we were the first ones to do this, it would be a great thing for the university and show how progressive we are. On second thought, college football is nothing more than indentured servitude taking advantage of the black man. College football should be deemed a civil rights violation and outlawed or pay the black athletes as professional athletes are paid. Whites do not need to be paid because they will get a job with white privilege after college.

I agree! We should always support our Tigers. This world would be a better place if we supported and listened to each other instead of ripping anyone who disagrees with you. It doesn't matter if we have different opinions, we are all Orange and ALL IN!

Go Tigers!
