"The fact that the AP and coaches poll don't carry any official weight with the College Football Playoff selection committee is probably a factor here. But if Alabama had Clemson's resume and wasn't ranked No. 1, it would be a national story, or at least fodder for talk shows all over the region, wouldn't it?"

if Alabama had Clemson's resume' this year, they would be crowned the greatest every and what they have accomplished my never happen again.
